Anybody looking for some wind? We found some
Today I had Tom,Jim,Jim and Jim for a 4hour bay fluke slam. We left out of Seaside Park at 7:00 am with a brisk {lol} 12mph South wind.We headed right to the skinny water of the flats for a nice smooth ride all the way to OCC.3 out of 4 of the guys had never caught a fluke before and in less than ten minutes of setting up we had our 1st of many triple hook ups.Prior to the trip I explained to the group these trips are about lots of fast action on light tackle and not about filling the box. Any keepers would be a bonus. Well the 1st fish of the day was a nice 19" fish. Yesterday it was over 100 fish without an 18"er , today the first fish is a keeper. The guys went on to land over 80 fish in the next 2.5 hours and getting 5 more keepers with the tops being a nice 23" fish. Some nice guys,a smooth dry ride up and back and tons of fish with some nice quality makes for a great way to spend a morning with gust to 20 from the south
The action is great and some fillets to take home is pure bonus. Good luck all and catch them up.
