donate to the local volunteer FD they use them for fire safety drills, extinguisher training, etc.

def keep a few on board too as they will likely still work in a pinch

I always leave them in my wife's car with the spare tire in case she breaks down.

They will still work and god forbid you need them you cant have 2 many...
