Headed Out for another day of seabassing. Had Bruce, Ryan, Peter, Joe, Pat and Matt aboard with us today!
Headed to the north and got anchored Up in 60 ft... Had some life... Heavy on the shorts... Few Keepers Mixed in here n there... Made a few drops and a couple drifts in this area... all about the same... Peter Released a nice 3 lb fluke as well.
Headed Further North where we had some good Life last trip and our bite went right Down the tubes! Only able to pluck a keeper bass here and there and not even that many shorts...
Headed off shore and we didnt have much life... couple of Porgies... Just short seabass.
Steamed to the offshore to the south and we Picked a few More seabass Shorts and a few Nice keepers... Then the Bluefish started to eat our seabass and clam... Landed a few demons and moved on.
Headed back closer to home and Hit some more spots... These actually had some better life on em... We drifted over a few Junk piles and picked some keeper seabass, alot of shorts and a few big porgies...
It was a tough Bite today for us...very frustrating at times... But we Put in some over time, lots of miles, drops and drifts to scratch a catch together... A few here and a few there with a couple of flurries of nice keepers and they finally started to add up!
By the time It was over the Guys Boxed up 95 keeper seabass to 3 1/2lbs and 15 Porgies for 110 Tasty critters Going to the dinner table... Guys fished hard for em today!
