Capt.Ron/Fishermen/Mondays Fishing
« on: September 21, 2009, 05:08:47 PM »
Tried some clamming this morning, but that was short lived!!! Didn't have a bite as the water temp is still around 67 degrees. Didn't waste too much time with that and headed offshore. Chumming was good for the first couple hours on Bluefish, along with the jigs.  Once we lost the tide that was it. Most of the guys put on bottom rigs and caught Sea Bass, Progies, and Trigger Fish the rest of the day. Couple more shots of Blues after the tide change. Great day on the water for those who came out.
Doing what we gotta do for now until the True Fall fishing Starts!!!! Capt.ron

Fill it in however you can. This lag in the season sucks.  :P

Nice job!  Fish are fish and as long as the customers come out to fish, you catch whatever you can...
