so whats your dream boat?
« on: June 06, 2007, 10:46:45 PM »
so here it is. a virtual reality scenario.
you have $250,000 to spend on a boat and gear.

the gear is an optional question since that could take alot of time to research all the pricing but feel free to add to your package at any time. t^

this would be my boat.

http://www.shamrockboats.com/content.php?p=models/270/270_mackinaw/overview.html

name would be: reelaxe

total spent with added extras roughly $170,000

$250k would not cover my dream boat :)

I wouldn't mind something similar to the one on Offshorwe Adventure TV show (72' something or other), but much faster then that one :)

Wow, that Wellcraft will get your mojo working.

I kinda like the 37' Shamrock it almost resembles my old boat except mine did not have the back bulkhead and door it was all open.  It would be nice if they made it a complete tunnel drive to make it accessable to shallower water in the bay though.

Ahhhhh...

I have my dream boat.  25 Parker Sportcabin.  Plenty of room to fish, shelter for getting out of the weather, rain, wind, sun, ect. and it takes me and does just what I want and need it to do.
I am not into the fancy, smancy, look what I have boat.  No frills, strictly fishing.  Now, what do I do with the $185,000 I saved?  I can get lots of fuel and bait with that $$.   t^

Tell me one thing why do you need a bow thruster on a multi engine boat and three to me is excessive.  Two engines is sufficient and by maneuvering the engines one fore and the other aft you can turn any boat in its own length.  Where has small boat seamenship gone? lol
