Today - Open boat bottomfishing:
Started out slow today with a tough pick of porgies and seabass. Moved around and finally got the porgies going. High hook had 40 porgies. Sea bass keepers in the mix as well as some keeper blackfish. 3.5lb triggerfish won the pool.
October 11th - Chartered for bluefish today and was a tough pick overall. Caught most jigging as when we tried bait/chum at spots, very poor results. headed back into the bay and jigged some more.
October 10th - Open bottom fishing trip:
Good day of porgies and sea bass. Even had some keeper blackfish/tog to 5lbs. Pool fish was a real nice 5.7lb seabass. All in all a pretty good day of bottom fishing.
