Well if you been reading the reports or been out locally lately you know that the seabass fishing has just been OUTSTANDING on the inshore grounds(state waters) the last couple of weeks!!!
Was able to get in one More Great Day of Bottomfishing before the noreaster... With everyone taking home a limit catch for the 10th seabass trip in a row!!!
Had a great crew today... Bob Bates, Mike Mboy, Ralphy and Pat(wed boys), Ed Mcginnis, and Dennis.
Started out a bit bouncy in the morning wind was more ne, then went north so we set in the ditch the first couple of drops... but it laid down nicely as the day went on...
Action started out fast n furious with some nice size keepers coming off our first piece at a good clip...shifted around and put over 50 keepers in the boat before it dried up there...
For the rest of the day we just picked away keepers and tons of shorts... We had to work hard for them finding some spots with some better keepers...other with loads of shorts.
Few here and a few there added up nicely by the end of the day!
Didnt have a lot of porgies, but the ones we did catch were some REAL JUMBOS!!! Ralphy pulled up a nice out of season fluke released after pic.
By days end the guys wound up with 150 keeper seabass (6 man Limit) and 21 Porgies in Da Coolers!!! Nice Fillet sacks!!!
Thanks Again Guys!!!
We Will see what this weather brings and be back at once it settles Down!
