Had Bruce and Dan along with friends aboard today. Finally able to get off the dock!
Plan was to mix it up... headed out and we try jigging for some bass... Birds and bait all over but no bass takers on our jigs... Just a few shots at blues for us... Tried inshore offshore etc But just blues...
Headed of to anchor on some bottom and see if there was still any seabass life inside 3 Miles (state waters) Surprisingly the life was good but if was very heavy on the shorts... But we were able to pluck some keepers here and... Made a few drops action on the other 2 was a little slower But a few keepers n we picked up a nice trigger fish as well! Lots of doggies also making there appearance following up da seasbass.
Decided to end the day with some Blackfishing... right there where we left last time and some nice ones were ready n Chewing.
Boated a few beauties with The biggest over 9lbs on the scale, another at 7 1/2 lbs and a 5 lber. Caught a Bunch of tog and we only fished for about an hour. Everyone kept there one fish and let all the rest go for after Nov 16!
Kind of slow day but we kept at it and switched it up to put some meat in da boat. So for the day the guys Boxed up 45 Seabass, 1 Trigger some Blues and a Limit of Blackfish to over 9lbs.
Great Group of Guys !!!
Thanks Again Fellas!
