LBI Stripers, 10/31/09

Lines in at 6:30 am, fishing bunker at the first public beach access on the island (by tennis courts)/outgoing tide.  Caught 27 inch striper around 7:30 am, a 28 1/2 striper (released) around 9am and a small flounder/fluke on a clam around 11 am. 

Had something big take a lot of line, but lost him.  My buddy Zak was with me and got skunked.  Wind picked up in the afternoon and couldn't hold bottom, so we went home around 1:30 pm.  Saw another fisherman down the beach nab a keeper striper as well.
