nite bassin off the hook
« on: November 05, 2009, 07:32:31 PM »
Last night (Wed) on the Angler out of the highlands drifted eels over the clam beds had 16 keeper fish ( 6 shorts) but only 2 worth a mention the rest seemed to be resident fish . big fish was 14 lbs
I really expected to see larger and more fish

Nice report. Was that the total for you or the boat? Either way, still a great way to spend an evening.  t^

that was for the boat , there were 23 fares aboard its a 5 hour trip
I had 2 run off's my buddie Paul had 3 run off's

Couldn't put a fish in the bucket last nite !!

But it was nice out we caught both tides (high was around 8;30)no wind to speak of ,water was flat. out going was moving around 2-3 kt ( it was ripping ) got in about 11;30  Great nite out of the house no place I'd rather be ,than out on the water

Going out Sunday on the skiff to fish the rocks and reef it's going to be a " bute "
