What do you think a bout the storm that will hit us.I was going to hit the surf at the Hook Sat or Sun. Do you thing it might be a wash out weekend.

Sunday will be your best bet.  They aare calling for a 30% chance of rain in the morning.  Right now we are getting pummeled by rain and high winds with a coastal flood warning.

I guess it is a coin toss on Sunday.

Sunday is your best bet...it might start laying down and they are calling for NW winds which will help the rough surf.  Bring your 8 n bait sticks, though...

If you only have the weekends. Go fishing what's the worst thing that will happen. No fish ? This ocean will be off for awhile. By the way the Monmouth cty. guys(that I know) are all fishing Ocean Cty. That may change. Lots of good fishing left in the surf 56 degree surf for 11/12 is good. Too much west winds mean cold nights and waters cool quickly.

Well with the way its blowing all the beaches will be gone for sure.  There is a flood warning which means it will happen. So the ocean towns will have plenty of water to get rid of.  If you are going out make sure to call and see if the streets are passable.

FYI IBSP will be closed till further notice.  Once this blow goes thru call to make sure it is open as the beach will take a bad hit again.
