RARITAN BAY MON 09

Left Keyport at daylight headed to bouy 19&20 ,bay flat,light south west ,birds sitting ,an occasional swirl,don jr threw shads ,Ithrew metal,no takers ,set up a troll,no takers,headed towards the triangle,birds working,all choppers, the blues were spiting up peanuts.headed towards bouy 1 birds active,caught five bass,on metal and shads and pleanty blues,no keeper bass all in all a beautiful day on the bay. Thanks to CAPT Z aka PILOT who fish Sunday i will have blackfish for supper

Way to go Capt Don.  Glad you made it out today.  I got out on Saturday and we caught 2 keeper bass and 3 shorts. I had Nick friend Vinny with me and he caught the keeps.  We also had a few blues mixed in.  Would have caught more if there were not as many boats.  Take care. T-Bone

Wtg. You managed to knock a few down (fish that is). Donnie was the one with the hot hand on the tog. Hope you enjoyed. If the weather holds on friday I'm hoping to join you guys for a morning bite.
