Cape May - Manasquan Inlet "Report"
« on: November 29, 2009, 08:30:24 PM »
Finally got down to Cape May to bring up the Albemarle, so my brother in law Anthony and I took the LONG ride back up the beach to Manasquan Inlet, then up to South Jersey's PP office/marina.

Boat ran great all the way.. We cruised up at 25 kts, making the inlet in around 3.5 hours. Made a few stops along the way on some GREAT marks, but our jigs couldn't even draw a sniff. Best area of life was about 2.5 miles off IBSP, we read the daylights out of em', but couldn't do squat. S wind shut everything off - didn't see more than a handful of birds the whole way.. Pretty much the dead sea!

My wife Eileen snapped a few pics of us coming through the canal, I put them below. Hopefully we can get a couple of trips in before the new year, but as of right now I'm not sure what's going to happen on that end!
