After a couple days Hiatus, the bite was back on today.
Worked some Bird life in the channels, just at slack into the change. Had a good shot at the keepers and short fish. Bite died on the outgoing so we took a ride South. Found more life along the way with shots of bass and blues. Couldn't make the same drift twice, had to keep moving to stay on the fish.
Made it down to the Rocks, lots of life, but the bite was tough to come by, saw the fish rolling, couldn't catch many of them. Lost way too many rigs to stay there.
Headed back to the North and a few more shots at the shorts...Great day on the water with action and a great group of guys!! Big "Silent" Bob had the hot hand today with 2 nice keepers and who knows how many shorts!!
Thursday is the Craps, I don't mind the snot, but when you throw in some flem, it's time to stay home!!!! See you on Friday... Capt.Ron
