Jamaica off shore trip 1/10
« on: January 10, 2010, 08:50:33 PM »
fished the Jamaica off shore trip today with friends Ken and Nichole and a friend of Kens from work Rob.boarding last night found out only 20 fares on board and going off as a charter trip,  t^ only 20 for a 125 foot boat, all the room in the world.a bit of a rough ride out,but out there fishing before day break.the air was cold and the seas were choppy to say the least.action started right off with fish over the rail, some cod, pollack and giant porgies, and some giant seabass mixed in that unfortunately had to be tossed back,   nosmly  everybody had fish,no sooner your line hitting bottom fish on,my arms and back sore.Rob caught a large pollack that was in contention for the pool, but a bigger one beat him out.below is pic of Robs pollack.also took a picture of ice on the poles after one of the moves.the Capt made some moves working our way back and some ling were also caught.great day of action fishing, thanks to the Capt.and a great crew.  t^    Kez

Hey guys....first time on the site...I'm the guy in the picture that met Dennis this weekend on our trip.  Great to meet you Dennis...had a great time..Good report too. Pretty much sized it up perfectly.  What I want to know is how you had the energy to even make this post last night when you got home....I felt like somebody beat me with a stick and the living room wouldnt stop heaving up and down all night.

Again..great to meet you.  Will definitely have to hook up with you in the Spring out at the hook.
