A shame! He certainly lived a life full of fishing. Great guy and great fisherman. He had a nice little shop. Fished alongside of him many Falls as a kid. He always had extra tackle on him if you needed it on the beach. He used to keep a running tab for the regulars...which was just about anyone he came in contact with
. Just saw him end of April or May over on the beach.
T&P to his family and close friends. He will be missed in the fishing community. RIP Mr. Ernie!
Fisherman's Prayer
I pray that I may live to fish...
Until my dying day.
And when it comes to my last cast,
I then most humbly pray:
When in the Lord's great landing net
And peacefully asleep
That in His mercy I be judged
Big enough to keep.
