Going to try and get out this Saturday
« on: March 31, 2010, 06:03:16 PM »
My question is: This time of the year, where would be my best bet?  And also for what?
as you can probably tell, I am new to this forum and really need good advice.  btw I am coming from the Mt. holly area so try and keep it to LBI and south.  Thanks in advance

Sorry can't help you there as my neck of the woods is from IBSP north to the Manesquan Inlet.

But right now I would suggest going to a good B&T and ask them for info as you buy your bait from them.

Happy Catching

the action for now seems to be at mystic island off of graveling point, and pebble beach. a swing through scotts bait and tackle or a web search for them can fill ya in. clams and blood worms are working.

off the beaches on the ocean side,, there are some stragglers around here and there im sure, but for now would try and focus inside in the warmer water.

just be prepared for the adventure out onto the point if you choose that way, and understand it.

i m trying to get there saturday and anchor off the point along a channel to pick up a striper or two.
