Plugs and Bucktails - How I've been passing the time
« on: April 06, 2010, 09:41:36 AM »
Here's a little bit of how I'm been passing the time at home.

Plugs are from kits.  The pencil popper is 2oz, the Danny is 2.5oz.  Paint job is sealer - primer - rattle can paints - ETex epoxy coating.
Also have another swimmer in the works.

Bucktails (thanks Joe  t^) are 2, 3, 4oz.  Played around with a couple methods with them, including a spray on plasti dip product.

I'm happy with how everything turned out for a first try.   ;D

Yes Salty's.  You know of anyone locally that carries them?  Shipping from them is pricey.

They're both about 6.5in.

I'm looking to do another half dozen for the upcoming season.  Then eventually maybe pick up a small lathe.  It's got me hooked, hopefully does the same with some fish.

I'm not sure who would carry the kits locally.  Maybe Fisherman's Supply?

BTW,  bnqt Just in case you felt like donating a couple of those beauties!  clp

J/K Chris. ;)  Good luck with them! t^

I've been using www.LurePartsOnline.com shipping is free on orders of $ 150.00 and reasonable on orders below that.
They offer a wide variety of lures and parts.
