I avoid Following the trout stocking tank truck to the lakes here in PA . I like to wait awhile until they acclimate themselves to the new environment. They then become more of a challenge to catch using spinners and spoons rather than using corn as bait. Trolling spinners and spoons and drifting in a light wind with live bait produce some healthy size trout that have escaped the onslaught of the tank truck followers, trout that hopefully have been in those waters for more than 1 season. And aren't as mushy to the touch as their newly stocked brothers. I'm not knocking first day stocker fishermen, just saying the way I like to fish
