Winter Project ---- Rod Holder
« on: March 29, 2010, 04:02:24 PM »
Took some 1x4's and a hole saw and made a rod rack for my man cave. It came out pretty well and I am by no means a carpenter. Here are some pix.

Nice
I have a bandsaw and drill press coming in about a month.  The first project is the same type of rack.

Thanks for the kind words. I have to build another one for the garage, but what is nice is that I have my main rods inside the house and I have been ahead of the game with re-spooling line, checking the guides, and reel maintenance this year.

The man cave thing has evolved over time. I slowly commandeered the spare bedroom and made it my hunting and fishing room. Threw a pullout couch in there for my buddies to crash on before an early morning trip and it is all set.

All I need now is a 45 pounder for the wall this year and I will have most of the wall space filled up.

Haha, my mancave is a 21' Wellcraft V20.
