Hunter 2- Raritan Bay 5-11-10
« on: May 11, 2010, 07:15:35 PM »
Lounged around the house this morning and saw the weather report, so I pulled out solo today around 11:00am. I made a few calls and heard the Bass bite was slowing down. Also spoke to Capt.Carl on vhf 68.  I trolled around the reach for a couple of hours but the tide was slack and bass were not biting. I tried a few spots with no luck. On the WAy in the birds were working Keyport Buoy 1 area. I switched over to topwater plugging and had a blast with the Big to mid sized gators on the light gear. Sorry, no pics the camera is acting up.
    Good Luck, Eddie
