Had Carl Fischl and gang aboard today... Was slated for a bottom trip but told them we could def mix in some stripers...
Headed out and came across nice school of bunker... Made some bait for the live well... Headed up north and made a couple of drifts but no takers... missed a couple of run offs
Headed out to bottom fish... well that stunk... made a bunch of drops on good ling bottom and only managed a couple of ling and a few cod with a couple keepers.
Decided to head back inshore for stripers... Try live ling but the wind made it tough.
Put out the trolling gear and after a few minutes we started to have some action... Found a good patch of fish and would get a fish or hit every pass.
Boated 8 bass and a couple Blues... Little Guys Jagar and Collin did a great job reeling in a few nice bass each and were whooped. The rest of the crew reeled a few in and They decided to call it a day!!!
Thought the bottomfishing would be a Little better or i would have stuck with the stripers all day.
As always it was a pleasure having Carl and Crew aboard with us!!!
