5/16 NJSWF Slam The Blues
« on: May 16, 2010, 09:34:02 PM »
Had a Great group from NJSWF onboard today Mark (Fishon42), Vic and Marcous.  Ran down the beach where the action was the day before to find a fleet in search of some action. Could find no marks to jig on and we began to pull some lime. Had a good knock down, only to come off half way to boat. Could find nothing else. Got a call of hot jigging of of Roackaway and we put the coals to the Grady and burnt up there, only to arrive just at the end. Tried jigging on suratic marks and pulling some line, but not takers. Ran over to the Knoll and began chunking, in a few minutes the Blues were in and the battle was on. Had some young Studs on board that got a workout with the deamons. Had a great day with 3 great guys, welcome on my boat any day.

Capt Bob,

Thanks for a great day on the water with my 2 buddies. Blues always are an awesome fight! Setting the hook is the best part  t^. I did go 0 for my first 5 fish while Marcus was 4 for his first 5. Then he says to me last night, when he was at 5 blue fish, next thing you know I was reeling in my 4th. Then my sisters boyfreind Marcus, pulled away! Vic had a great time as well, and Marcus cant wait to go again. Looking forward to being out there with you again, thanks for an awesome time! chrz chrz

PS: My face is burnt to a crisp in pain!

Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.

Lol @ Wb, I should have thought about that. I have a hard time thinking of anything else when I'm too busy fishing. Ime flies and the heat just gets worse. Had a great time though, looking forward to fryin up some blues tonight.

Yeh I saw you made out very well with the stripers nick. It just wasn't our day with the bass, some people were telling us they couldn't find blues but just caught bass. Bob tried for us, but those fish just couldn't be found. Got tan, got meat, and got beers and oysters after! Love it down there.
