Tom and I were out to the Striper grounds around Sandy Hook down to the Highlands Bridge this morning. The ocean was flat with very little wind, there was some bird life working on the Rainfish, the recorder said there were big fish around. We threw various Avas, Hopkins, Storm shads, bucktails, and even had some Killies in the water. If the Stripers were here we never caught any nor did we see anyone else landing any. In the bay there were plenty of Blues to be had along with any number of Sea Robins and the commercial hook and line guys were pulling in the Fluke by the Point of the Hook near the Osprey nest. Pete
