5/20 Bass'n
« on: May 20, 2010, 07:53:57 PM »
Headed out early and went straight for the Great Kills. Can't find any bunker.Head for Romer, get near and put out the stretch's.We weren't marking any kind of life.Trolled to the single candle stick.Still nothing to show for it.No blues.Troll down the beach to the clam beds.Set up to clam fish.Bam!Fish on.Land a nice 30".That was it.Plenty of party boats around, but nobody on board is running for the net.Just weren't chew'n.Head in,stop at the 11a. Drop anchor off of Hunters stern.Set up to clam and start chumming.Half hour goes by and Bens rod goes off.A nice 30".Then my rod goes off another of the same.Three bass in the box.Just weren't chew'n today.

Nice report, 3 bass is better than 2 bass.
