Headed out for an day of Seabassing. Bruce, Jerry, Mike, Matt Shark Hart, Kirk Tautog, and Bob Bates Rounded out todays Crew.
Left the inlet and seen some bunker right outside Snagged a few pieces Incase we needed them later.
Off to the seabass grounds and like the last 2 trips "da life was Good". Got Set up and started to pick away at some nice keeper seabass. Good action...Lots Shorts But plenty of keepers to Go in the Box with a few Humps in the 2- 2 1/2lb Class. Few cod and tog in da mix as well.
When ever the action slowed up we made a shift or move and started all over again. Wind went agaisnt the tide so we drifted over some small piles and that was productive as well.
They Guys caught a Good bunch of seabass and boxed up a 6 man limit by 100pm.
Decided to make the ride and do some striper fishing to end up the day! Got Up north n had some good readings and bunkers popping, Made a drift and we hooked up with 3 Fish... made another we caught one... Hoped from bunker pod and reading and picked a fish here and there. Slower than its been but still a Great way to end the day with 10 Stripers to 34lbs!!!
By days end the guys Boxed up 150 Keeper Seabass (A 6 Man Limit), 3 keeper Cod and Caught 10 Stripers up to 34lbs Keeping 5 and releasing the other 5.
