Anyone have to renew their Driver's License?

DONT FORGET TO BRING YOUR BOATING COURSE CERTIFICATE! Renewed my license the other day and didn't have my certificate and they wouldn't put boat operator on it. Now I have to go back with my 6 points of ID so they can put it on. They don't tell you about bringing it and it just never occured to me to bring it. Hope this saves somebody the hassle of having to go back.

Good heads up Poncho.  The rules and regs in this state is so getting out of hand.  When is it going to stop?   ???

Unless you are a freshwater boater YOU DO NOT WANT BOAT OPERATOR on your license. It means NOTHING in saltwater and is only a tax for the state.

it is not reuiqwred for Saltwater, nor does it mean anything.

It is strictly a freshwater deal and is really just a TAX.

That is what I was taught in my safety cert class.

DO NOT PAY FOR IT. Money wasted!

You are right Mboy, but some people do both salt and fresh water fishing/boating.  I know I was on the Delaware River this spring getting herring.  You need the endorcement for that or any lakes/ponds that you motorboat on. 

Another name for a tax is correct though.
