Fishguts Inshore Charters seabassing 30/31 report
« on: May 31, 2010, 08:16:23 PM »
On the 30th I had the pleasure of repeat customers (now friends) Alison ,Mike and Alisons dad. Good fisherman and great people. Made a move to a new area from were I have been fishing and had mixed results. Deeper water just does not have a good bite yet. Started to put a good box together when they asked how my keepers we had. I told them around 30 and they said thats plenty for the BBQ. Having enough fish they  opted to head in and start the party early. On the 31st I had repeat charter of the  Louth brothers (Brandon and Brian). The guys wanted to catch some fish and be home by lunch. Conditions were great with calm seas and light current but the bite was way off. The guys managed 2 dozen keepers to 2.75 lbs by way of a slow pick in a few hours and made it home by lunch.  Still not seeing the big spread of fish  in many areas just finding real good life in specific spots. Looks like thats it with the 1/2 day no make that a 1/3 day trips LOL. Back at it with full day stuff this week. I had better find the slammer bite in time for Wreckfishes NJSWF trip. ;D
