opening day today for the NJ Fluke/Summer Flounder season... had my son out with 2 other friends Orlando and his cousin Alex..... Bounced around the usual spots in the bay for most of the morning, of coarse the Sandy hook bug light area was a mad house.... picked shorts and a few keepers here and there, then hit the reef for some sea bass...finished with 9 keepers to 5lbs, maybe 30 shorts... and a handfull of sea bass... By our standards it was a horrible trip.... but will give it a go tomorrow with My Bow Monkey LAB.......

Not so terrible, going home with a meal or two. Having fun with family and friends. Nice catch.
Did about the same yesterday fluking, but did not go past Keansburg from Keyport.
