6/2 Raritan Bay
« on: June 02, 2010, 03:47:51 PM »
Launched out've Keyport loaded for bear.We had clams, squid, spearing and some bunker Ben had from yesterday.Going out the channel the bunkers were flipping all over.Snagged a bunch of them and headed for the Knoll. We had fish on almost immediately.Chummed w/clams,and fished w/clams and bunker heads.Caught some huge blues.Caught four bass, only one on clam, all the rest on Bunker.Either head or chunk worked.Tried fluking, caught allot, all small. No keeper fluke.

Thanks for the report. Sure beats working.

Nice report thanks.
I went out to do some bucktailing and fuel up at aprox 6 pm and heard a "Salty Dog" captain talking on the VHF that he spun a prop.Tried to communicate with him  but no comeback.I did not hear a call to Sea Tow. :headscra:
Was that you?
