In spite of the rain forecast Tom and I had the Roosters out on Sandy Hook Bay looking for our favorite flatfish. The NW winds blew hard at times giving us a wind against tide at the mouth of the Shrewsbury River. We know at this time of year this area can produce and we were not disappointed, Tom landed three keeper Fluke up to 21½" as I picked away at many shorts. Fishing plain Killie and Killie and Gulp! I managed one keeper at 21¼". The bay water has warmed and I expect fishing will improve as time goes on. Pete
