spring lake fluke 7/3/07
« on: July 05, 2007, 08:38:33 PM »
Fished from South Belmar to North Spring Lake and ended up with 82 fluke but only 4 keepers.  After the keepers died out in Sping Lake I moved to Bradley Beach and it was all shorts.  Best bait was sea robin belly and we had plenty of them.

Yeah, the sea robins are plentiful and do make good bait.

I have been fishing the 7 presidents park with decent results.  Last trip out was Monday with 23 keepers if I remember right.  Don't have my log book here.

That is insane 23 keepers. Amazing job. Also, what is the amount you can keep per person ? Not that i'll have max out  ;)

Eight per person.  There were six on my boat.  I had one short of my limit.
