Had the Carl F. Charter / D&C Fishing team from Pa aboard today for a Bottom trip.
Back to the grounds and we started off fishing a couple of junk piles and we had some good action putting 25 Nice keepers in the boat.
After that our next few spots the Bite seemed a little sluggish. But we were still picking away with some nice size keepers. Current was against the breeze so it made for some tough conditions.
Talked to some others all different directions and heard the bite was slow. So we stuck it out and was glad we did!!!
With the wind and current both at a stale mate we drifted at .1 of over our next 2 Pieces and it was lock and load and we had a couple of blasts at some nice keepers pretty quick.
Wind picked up so we anchored up and cont to catch them ok... Seas Got snappy and the Guys had over 100 fish in the box so they were Happy to call it day!!!
By days end the Guys Boxed up 103 Keeper Seabass and 1 Ling... Released some Blackfish and 1 Winter flounder as well.
As always It was a Pleasure having Carl and crew on board!!! Blast as usual!!!
