Quantom mOcean

Im looking for a new surf pole, will be throwing chunks with maybe 4-5 oz along with some plugs/lure . Don't need anything amazing. Leaning towards the quantom mOcean which is on sale from 90 to 45. Not sure what reel yet, but any inpot on the rod? 9 ft rated for 1-4 oz

I'm not familiar with that particular model.  But, if you're planning on throwing 4-5 oz. you should probably look at something that's rated around 2-6.

thanks guys of course i ordered the 10ft 2-6 one, will this still those plugs and such well? hooked up to my 2nd striper this year of course when i didn't feel like carry the net to the dock, lost it trying to grab leader
