skunked 6/15
« on: June 16, 2010, 01:31:47 PM »
Took out my wife and nephew yesterday for both of their first trips-Not a single fish was caught!  We tried in the bay, the inlet, out front and worked back to the dock.   5hrug

Weather was nice but windy.

Sorry Dave, I wish you were able to put them onto something.  There will always be next time to look forward to.

Happy catching

I fished the channels with fluke rigs and squid cut into strips.  I did have what felt like a few hits, but when brought in nothing....maybe the hook was too big?? 5hrug

Try some Bucktails with a small teaser about 18" above. Also try to keep your line strait down, dont let out too much so the scope is way out. t^
For a teaser you can use a small hook with some bucktail hair on it.
