Left KEYPORT at 6'oclock,CAPT DON,DON,BIG TOM,headed to bouy 19 & 20,in the REACH CHANEL.Not much of a drift,near the low tide for the morning drift.Worked the chanel during the slack tide and picked away with mostly shorts.THE PARTY BOATS from the local area were also fishing this area,they must have done good because they were there all day.We hit are favorite spots between the REACH and K BURG pier,the drift picked up with the incoming tide.We bucktailed and picked up a 21" 20" and many almost keepers.Moved back towards BOUY 1 and picked up 4 more keepers on sand eels and squid combo,and then the blues showed up on the top hitting the bunks.we headed in towards the Keyport bouy 5 and made a few drifts picking up many shorts.All and All a great day on the BAY.HIT the slip,CUTMAN cleaned the fish,
cleaned the boat,
Headed home with a fresh meal.
