Woodbridge Mayor's Fluke Tournament.
« on: June 19, 2010, 09:15:58 PM »
fished "down the beach" ( Sandy Hook), today in the Woodbridge Mayor's Fluke Tournament with my son Thomas (L.T.), Orlando, and Mikey - LAB.....

WE had no drift early to fast drift by noon. We totalled 20 keeper fluke and 4 keeper sea bass. OUR biggest was right at 6#; not worth driving back to sea warren to risk getting bumped for 3rd or lower. LT had that fish.
Liked this tourney ONLY for the reason that the little girl and her family, whom the proceeds were going to were actually at the capts meeting which makes it NICE to see where the money is actually going.....

another nice score.. Here is a question you don't have to answer, or you can PM me, are the majority  of these fishing being caught on the magic Gulp! or live/stripped bait.
Fish out of Toms River NJ.

Nice day.  I was also in the tournament and I could only come up with 5 keeps to a 4lb that my son caught.  I went to the ramp at 4:55 and 8.8lbs was leading and 5.7 was leading the kids.  I think 6+ was in 3rd.
