Cock Robin- Tuesday
« on: June 22, 2010, 11:40:07 PM »
After a "day off" and having the "YO MON" BIG boat offer me a days work (thank you Capt Howard and Dan) I was back prowling the deck and Capt Jim was testing our "READINESS"

First stop, "I see jig fish"....nada

Second stop, "...throw chum and we'll anchor back on 'em..." ok, that lasted 10 minutes and a flurry of changing 25 rentals to bait...

Third stop...THE BOMB!!!... chum, jig, bait, almost non stop CATCHING all day!!

Careful now of expectations, BLUES are still cruising around, belly's empty, squid, butterfish, anchovies and sand eels puked when caught. Today's fish were bigger than we have seen and stayed with the chum through slack tide.

We are sailing:

and

2 NIGHTS

Friday and Saturday

7:30p- 2:30a

EVERY Weekday is NJSaltwaterfisherman.com APPRECIATION DAY!!!
