cape may point fishing report
« on: June 25, 2010, 10:21:21 AM »
I was down cape may for a week. The fishing was pretty slow. Caught a couple small flounder 8 to 15 inches jigging a minnow. If you are into fishing for dogfish the point in cape may was great. I was fishing to see if I could pick up a striper but only dogfish some were pretty big; reeled one in and it was almost five feet long. I also tried floating a blood warm and see if I was lucky enough to pick up a weakie but only small ones 3 to 8 inches. It kinda made me smile tho to see they are breeding and hopefully will make a turn.

Nice to see a report from the far southern end of the state.
Good effort.
