hit the water today around 0700, and decided to give the inlet a shot this morning, which proved to be a good choice.
getthenet scored two 21" flatties out of countless throw backs. one caught inside midpoint of the inlet on the incoming tide, and one caught outside by the 5 can on the outgoing tide. bait of choice was chartreuse gulp minnows.
fished couple hours incoming to out couple hours outgoing, didnt seem to matter, found'em biting and left'em the same way.
they where hitting like crazy on the gulp, minnows, shrimp and even the crabs where good to go. i think they where starving today eating everything in sight, cause they where spitting up grass shrimp, snails, baby mussels, baby crabs, and what was left of about a 4" fluke.
even got to feed a few greenheads before we doused in bug spray, really nice day to be on the water and i think time to start thinking deeper water for the flat ones.
