Hunter 2 Fluking 7/4 Raritan bay
« on: July 05, 2010, 07:26:58 AM »
Short trip, Pulled out of Keyport at 11:30am with Cashin and His Girlfriend Sandy. She pulled up a short in the K-berg hole she kissed it and released it. Moved out to the 11A buoy and I hooked up to something big. I handed the rod to Sandy and she fought it close to the top when the leader snapped near the snap swivel, the rig and fish were lost. It felt like a fluke but we will never know. Then Sandy lands another short and we called it a day at 2:30pm. B.B.Q time chrz chrz

Nice short trip Eddie. That was probably a 25# fluke that was lost. (Hey, you might as well go big) TT^

good story and some excitment. whenever I hook up to something big I'm always hoping to at least see it. but it doesn't always work that way.

Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.
