Today I had a 3 man all day wreck charter with Blackfish Doug, Bill and Pat. After yesterdays boat limits the angler had high expectations for todays trip. Bill's best day of seabassing prior to todays trip was 18 keepers so we were looking to get him a personal best today. It did not take long for the 3 anglers to start racking up some nice fish in glass calm conditions. It was great to watch Bill close in on his goal of 25 keepers. In addition to plenty of seabass we also had 5 cod to 22" and a few blackfish. At 12:30 the fat lady started singing as the anglers reached 75 keeper seabass topped by Blackfish Doug's 20" 3 lber. I asked the anglers if they wanted to try some fluking in the bay and off we went. 3 drifts in 3 different areas produce very fast action on the fluke. The guys even had 3 double headers. The fish ranged from small pastage stamps up to a 19" keeper. Bill thought he had a big one but it turned out to be 2 17.5" fish at the same time. The guys had 25 fish in a short time for some very fast action. Final tally for the day for the 3 anglers was 75 keeper seabass,1 22 inch codfish, and one 19'fluke. Please check my web site
