On 7/9 it was boat regulars Pat,John and Nikki out for an all day wreck trip. These experienced bottom fisherman did not need all day as they boxed their 75 seabass limit by 1pm.The ocean had a large SE ground swell but it did not affect the bite at all. Plenty of nice quality fish with a good showing of 15 plus inch blackies that were release. A short stop in the bay put a 19" fluke in the box. Today it was Chris and Sammy for a planned 8 hour trip. The forcast did not look good but we were hoping to get a few hours in before the rains came. The ocean was fairly flat with a slight swell once you got off the beach a few miles. The bite was very good but not much quality fish today. Most keepers were 12.5" to 14.5" today but good numbers. With the rains coming and 40 fish in the box at 10:45am we called it a very short day and headed in. A fine day with some fine gentelman
