Fish Monger 7/11 Fluke SHBA Day 2
« on: July 12, 2010, 09:03:35 PM »
Bob Bates and Crew of Cool Hand Al Joe Jigs and Tony Triggs were back part 2 of the shba tournament.

After 14 Keepers to 8lbs and 4th in the standings we were looking for better

Left nice and early and was greeted with the huge heave from the se... Headed up north to some ruff stuff... first few drifts only produced a few shorts...

Lots of Current in the am made for a very fast drift...Bounced around a ton of structure only to get a keeper here or and a few shorts if you were lucky...

Tough day of fluking for us and just about everyone i talked to in the area.

Kept Searching hard for the right one... But our biggest fish we could find for day was only 6 1/2 Lbs... Only managed to pick a keeper here and there.

Managed 13 Keeper fluke to 6 1/2 lbs along with a couple of seabass and ling.

Wound up finishing in 4th place as nobody weighed any bigger on day 2. Congrats to the winner!!!

The past 2 days were a blast with a great Crew... Real Fun Event.

Thanks Again Guys!!!

Back at it tom... hopefully the bottom will settle down a bit!!!

Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.
