Flukin in Barnegat Bay
« on: July 15, 2010, 08:33:14 PM »
Tried the bay today along with about 100 other boats near the inlet. We caught about 25 - all shorts. Not one keeper!  Saw everyone hauling fish but only on keeper reported.
We did catch a strange fish that none of us could ID. Unfortunately it went back in before any of us thought to take a picutre. Had the body of a bone fish with gray and silver wavy bands running somewhat diagonally down the body.  Any ideas??
I FISH therefore I am.
