Twisted or braided? Can't splice braided any other reason not to use it?  slt

twisted has more stretch or shock abosorbing quality than some braids.  There are a number of braids that are used as mooring lines but these do not have an inner core like the low stretch braids.

i use braid... tie a loop knot, burn the end so it wont fray  TT^
