Fish Monger 7/21 Fluke
« on: July 22, 2010, 09:44:44 PM »
Headed out for another day of fluking!!! Team Matt Spano, Carmine and Suzanne rounded out todays crew.

Headed to the grounds... started out shallow and Suzanne should the boys how to do it by outting a keeper in the box instantly. Didnt have any drift so we bounced around. Picked another couple keepers and some shorts but couldnt get a bite going even after the drift picked up.

Headed deeper and that was no better..... bunch of drifts with only a handul of shorts and a couple keepers.

Went and fished a offshore Hill and we found some great life and had alot of action but it was mostly shorts. Managed to box 4 Keepers amongst the shorts before the wind really started kicking and the drift became two fast.

Moved inshore and tried a bunch of spots and they were all dead besides the occasional short.... wind really was crankin and it got a little bumpy... so we finished it up in the river with a load of shorts but we did get our "unicorn" as carmine landed a 19 iner before we docked.

Tough day!!! Wish it was better!!!

By days end we managed 10 Keeper Fluke for the box!!!

Better days a coming!!!

Thanks again Guys!!!
