The Same Crew of myself with LAB, Backdoor Billy, Capt Anthony (Staten Island groper), and Capt Vito Manzi fished on Vitos boat the MissLynn looking to repeat our win of last years contest.....
Ran out to the deep jagged bigfish spots and gave it hell there all day... fishing was super tuff out there with little to NO drift most of the day, lines slidding to the bow, and wicked hot.....
boated only 5 keepers out there with Vitos 7 and a half pounder being the biggest and holding on for the last money place in the event....
Bites were few and far between, and can say no one even dropped a good one.... well look foward to next time.....
Congrats to the winner (9+ lbs) who was in NJ vacationing from Maine... said he has been making the trip for the last 8 yrs
