Question about killies
« on: August 06, 2010, 11:21:31 AM »
Correct me if I'm wrong. Killies can live in both fresh and salt water right? So if I go and catch some killies in the bay in salt water, I can use those killies as bait fishing in freshwater and they would hold up fine right?

yes and no.  Like anything else.  The shock of hot water to cold water, and the shock from fresh water to salt water will kill them.  You need a steady transaction for them to live.
Fish out of Toms River NJ.
Call Nick for open boat, 973-417-5756, or on Channel 68.
