Fish Monger 7/28 Seabass Fluke
« on: July 30, 2010, 10:53:39 PM »
Capt Wayne and Nate the Mate Had Jay Zelinsky's Charter out For some seabass and Fluke.

Plan was to start with seabass and then switch over to some fluking.

The seabass bit was pretty slow but the guys managed to pick off a few nice fish hoping from pile to pile... along with 3 nice blackfish and a couple out.

Went to switch over to fluking but the s wind Made it tough starting to blow early making it tough in the deep... Managed 1 Keeper and some shorts but the conditions cont to get worse and s wind coming on harder.

Moves inshore before calling it a day produced some action but all shorties.

Tough day of fishing.

The Guys wound up Boxing up 30 Seabass, 3 Keeper Blackfish a couple ling and 1 Keeper Fluke!

Crew was great and fished hard despite the tough conditions

Thanks again Guys!!!

Got to tell you... Capt Wayne and Nate worked there butts off putting together the catch.  Good quality CBs on some the spots.  It took Wayne about a nano second to know where there was life or not.  Wasted little time on unproductive ground.  Nice bonus fishing with the wreck donkeys and ling!   Fabulous day considering that killer S.

If you haven't experienced Monger fishing, your have no clue what your missing.  The fellas are top shelf.  t^  Thanks Capt for an excellent day  chrz

Thanks Capt Wayne & mate Nate.  Even though the s wind kicked our butts, Wayne did put us on some quality CBass fishing. Had a great time monger fishing.  T-Bone
